This wheel was found in a barn near Omaha, Nebraska. It made its way to an antique shop outside of Omaha. When we picked it up, it needed a lot of work. During the restoration process, I discovered that the roulette wheel was actually gaffed. It contained two hidden mechanisms located in different areas of the wheel, each activated by magnets. These mechanisms would release a small pin that guided the ball into specific sections of the wheel. My research revealed only one other known wheel using a similar pin system—famously associated with "Al Capone’s Roulette Wheel," which has been the subject of numerous articles. The mechanism in my wheel matched that one exactly.
After fully restoring the wheel, I built a custom display table equipped with all the necessary electronics to demonstrate this unique piece. The table was designed to operate the wheel and slide up to any standard gaming table for actual use. It comes complete with a full set of chips in a vintage case, a full-sized roulette mat for gameplay, and a custom-made roulette rake.
