Antique Rocker Restoration

This rocking chair was a family heirloom restoration. To restore this correctly, it needed to be completely disassembled. There were multiple broken and cracked spindles. I also repaired several dowel joints and dowels. After all the repairs, I cleaned out the old glue joints, sanded all the pieces, and then reglued the project back together. I used a red mahogany stain, some air brushing techniques, and several coats of a semi-gloss finish. To complete the restoration, I topped it off with a brand new shrunken bison leather seat.
